New Unreal Engine 4 Video Shows Real-life Rain & Lighting Effects

YouTube’s ‘koooolalala’ has shared a new video, showcasing some incredible lighting and rain effects in Unreal Engine 4. As koooolalala noted, this scene runs with 30-45fps on a i7-3770 with an Nvidia GTX670. Epic Games Shows Incredible New Anti-Aliasing Technique – Screenshots + Video Comparison

Epic Games has revealed some comparison screenshots and a video for its new anti-aliasing technique that was first used in its Infiltrator Tech Demo. Epic’s AA solution is called Temporal AA, is supported by Unreal Engine 4.4, and promises to be among the best modern-day AA techniques. We do have to note, however, that while Temporal AA does an incredible job at eliminating jaggies, it slightly blurs the whole image (a side effect similar to the one introduced by FXAA). Enjoy! Unreal Tournament – New WIP Footage & Images Surface

Epic Games has just revealed brand new WIP in-engine footage from a stage (mark 1:32 to 10:34 on the first video) that will most probably be included in the new Unreal Tournament game. In addition, Polycount’s member ‘Vailias’ is currently working on a Skaarj model that might be added to UT, and has shared an image and a video in order to showcase it. Epic’s Fortnite Gets New Screenshots & Gameplay Trailer

Epic Games has released a new set of screenshots and a new gameplay trailer for its upcoming Unreal Engine 4-powered Minecraft-like PC title, Fortnite.
