Talented 3D artist “Baolong” has finally finished his next-generation 3D character that is based on BioWare’s RPG series, Mass Effect. We’ve covered Baolong’s in the past and we strongly think that he deserves the spotlight. It would be cool to also see this character in motion, but that won’t happen anytime soon. Man, seems that Epic is undergoing a lot of changes. Think about it; after Cliff Bleszinski’s retirement, it’s time for Mike Capps to step down and handle off his current presidential duties at Epic. It’s ironic, but these two people were among those who made Epic what it was back in the golden days. Guru programming – and founder – Tim Sweeney remains on board, but we are really curious to see what will happen with Epic Games and whether those retirements will be a good thing for PC gamers or not. Ah, the good old classic Unreal. Such an amazing experience, even for today’s standards. Actually, in some ways its better than today’s games, given the fact that it is not as a scripted mess as most modern-day FPS titles.
