SuperData Arcade has shared its monthly report, stating that Battlefield V and Fallout 76 launches fail to meet franchise benchmarks. Superdata estimates that Battlefield V and Fallout 76 sold 1.9 million and 1.4 million digital units, respectively, across console and PC at launch. Both are down from Battlefield 1 and Fallout 4. Fallout 76 December 19th patch available for download, fixes exploits and improves stability
Bethesda has released a new patch for Fallout 76. This hotfix will update your game’s version to 1.0.3.17 and addresses an issue that could cause the game client to crash after selecting Exit to Desktop, as well as a setting that was left in a debug state (which could allow out of date clients to connect, breaking gameplay). Fallout 76 December 11th update adds FOV and 21:9 monitor support, full release notes unveiled
Bethesda has revealed the full release notes for the December 11th update of Fallout 76. This patch is 3GB in size and adds Field of View and Depth of Field sliders so that you can further customize your view in-game, a push-to-talk hotkey for Voice Chat on PC and official support for 21:9 monitors/resolutions. Fallout 76 patch 1.0.2.0 releases on December 4th, full release notes revealed
Bethesda has just revealed the release notes for the upcoming patch for Fallout 76. This new patch will update your game’s version to 1.0.2.0 and will release on December 4th. According to its release notes, this update will increase the maximum stash storage by 50%, to 600 pounds. Obsidian’s Roby Atadero on video-game bugs: “Generally you’re going to have a lot of bugs.”
During his presentation at the University of California Riverside, Roby Atadero – Senior Programmer at Obsidian – shared some really interesting details about the bugs that players encounter in most modern-day games. Atadero basically confirmed what most of us already know by now; that most developers do not have enough time to address the majority of bugs as publisher want to meet their deadlines. Fallout 76 now supports higher/unlocked framerates, physics no longer tied to framerate
As we’ve already reported, Bethesda released today the first post-launch update for Fallout 76. Now while the release notes did not mention anything about it, we can confirm that Bethesda has unlocked the framerate, meaning that PC gamers can get higher framerates than 60fps. Bethesda has released the first post-launch update for Fallout 76. According to the release notes, this first patch addresses several performance issues and resolves hitches during gameplay. Fallout 76 First Impressions: Shockingly Fun!
I went into Fallout 76 sure I would hate it. I mean, instead of taking the effort to actually develop a proper story with actual characters, towns, and factions, it seemed like Bethesda just pushed something out with as little work as possible. “Every character is a real person” sounded like marketing garbage and an epic fail.
