EA Sports have released a new trailer for the upcoming ‘Euro 2012’ DLC of Fifa 12. According to the press release, Expedition is a new fantasy-team based single-player mode in UEFA EURO 2012. UEFA EURO 2012 promises to recreate all the excitement of the official tournament with over 50 European national teams, all eight official stadiums, and all the pageantry and atmosphere of one of the largest and most-watched sporting events on the planet. I bet that Electronic Arts is quite satisfied with their annual soccer’s sales, given the fact that Fifa 12 has managed to sell five million copies in its first month. Peter Moore has told investors in an overnight earnings call that consumers interest was remarkable and we can’t really argue with that. In addition, 8 million copies have been sold to the retailers so far, a number that is in fact half of the 16 million shipped in the game’s lifetime. Impact Engine is one of the most crucial features of Fifa 12 but like most things, it doesn’t always work as good as you’d hoped to. Although it is way better than anything we’ve seen so far and has lots of potential… there are moments where the engine just doesn’t cut it. It definitely needs more tweaking and we hope that EA will actually have it fixed in the final build. We’ve been waiting patiently for a PC gameplay footage of Fifa 12 to see for ourselves whether EA Sports’ statements were actually true or not. So get ready PC soccer fans as we can now confirm that everything looks exactly the same with the PS3 and X360 versions of Fifa 12.
