Square Enix has announced that the second phase of closed beta testing for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn on PC is now underway. Square Enix has released a new video from the revamped, alpha, version of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn that showcases Gridania. The revamped version of FF XIV features better graphics and some new features. In FF XIV: A Realm Reborn, players will be able to use their skills from the start of battles, meaning that they won’t have to build up SP. Square Enix has released a new CG video for Final Fantasy XIV that concludes the game’s storyline. This is the epic finale in which the Eorzean Alliance clashes with the Garlean Empire in a bid to deliver the realm from certain destruction. DmC Devil May Cry is the new DmC in which we get to play with an emo-like Dante that wants to save a chick. Bloody typical. Square Enix held a PAX Prime 2012 presentation for its revamped MMORPG Final Fantasy game, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. In this presentation, uploaded by YouTube’s member ‘Andrew Copeland,’ we learn that players will be able to use their skills from the start of battles, meaning that they won’t have to build up SP. In addition, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will sport a LevelSync feature, with which players will be able to drop down to their friends level to let them experience the game. Square Enix has released an amazing new CG trailer for Final Fantasy XIV. The good news is that the CG is flawless and among the best we’ve ever seen. The bad news is that the game’s graphics won’t even come close to this quality. Seriously, this kind of trailers make us wish for some truly next-generation games that will push the graphical boundaries. Much like what Crysis did back in 2007. Oh well. Square Enix released yesterday a massive patch for their MMORPG, Final Fantasy XIV. Among other things, this patch adds new quests & spells and features a reworked combat (auto-attack), UI adjustments and some bug fixes.
