Firefly Studios released a massive update for their strategy game, Stronghold 3. This update rebalances the game’s Economic Systems, adds a new Multiplayer Mode (called Coronation), features performance improvements, as well as various changes to Troop Movement. Firefly Studios today announced that Stronghold 3: Gold Edition will be released on 25 May 2012 for PC and Mac. This new edition will bundle the latest version of Stronghold 3 with a new “Blackstaff” single player campaign. Firefly Studios announced today the release of a new patch for Stronghold 3. Patch 1.10 adds some major gameplay tweaks and an all-new multiplayer Coronation game mode. It will release next Friday on 11 May 2012. In Coronation Mode players will race to become the King of Kings.Players start off at the lowly rank of “Village Idiot” with limited access to buildings and military units. This new update comes with lots of fixes, a reworked wall system to prevent small sections of wall remaining after deleting walls, resolves various crashes, as well as the addition of Patrol for troops and Barracks’ Assembly Points. FireFly Studios released a new patch for their strategy game, Stronghold 3, that updates its version to 1.6.24988 and comes with some interesting additions and fixes. We should note that save games that were made before patch 1.3.24532 and contain fire will crash when loaded. This new update will be auto-downloaded next time you start the Steam client and – among other things – adds a new free-build mode map and a new free-build mode control panel.
