The demo comes with 4 levels from the full game (including the movies of course), corresponding challenges and Arcade mode. Futuremark is a talented studio. Although their first game, Shattered Horizon, didn’t meet a commercial success and its fan base was really small, it was amazing, addictive and full of great ideas. Needless to say that I was excited when I heard that the company was preparing a new game. But when I found out that Unstoppable Gorg would be a Tower Defense game, I got disappointed. And when I got the chance to,actually play it, I liked and enjoyed it, even though I’m not a fan of this genre. You see, most of the Tower Defense games require a ‘trial and error’ approach and… well… I hate that. Today, Futuremark Games Studio revealed that in addition to the previously announced versions for PC, XBLA and iPad, Unstoppable Gorg will also be released for Apple Mac computers. Unstoppable Gorg will launch as a Steam Play title on Steam meaning the game can be bought once, and then played on both Mac and PC. Futuremark sent us word that a new update for their gaming benchmark for DirectX 11 PCs, 3D Mark 2011, is currently available. This new version of 3D Mark 2011 is compatible and comparable with results produced by earlier versions and you can download it from its official website. Futuremark has just released the first gameplay trailer for their upcoming tower defense game, Unstoppable Gorg. Unstoppable Gorg challenges you to defend the solar system from fearsome aliens by sending satellites into orbit. Unlike other tower defense games, in Unstoppable Gorg you can move your towers by rotating the orbits that surround planets, moons and space stations. Futuremark Games Studio has announced that Shattered Horizon, its zero gravity first-person shooter for PC, will be on sale on Steam for just $4.99 from Friday November 4 to Sunday November 6 to celebrate the game’s second anniversary. In addition, from Monday November 7 onwards, Shattered Horizon will be available from Steam at the new, permanently lower price of $9.99 reduced from $19.99.
