Superdata has released some new stats, reporting that while the worldwide digital video games market grew 9% year-over-year in May, PC sales declined by 30%. This decline was mainly due to Overwatch’s release in May 2016 which significantly boosted PC sales back then. Pirate scene group 3DM, best known for cracking earlier versions of Denuvo, has announced that it will stop releasing cracks for single-player games this year. According to 3DM’s leader, Bird Sister, this is done in order to measure the impact of cracks on PC sales, however we are certain that Denuvo played a huge part in this decision as well.
