Rockstar has released a remastered version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas on X360, and YouTube’s ‘GTA Series Videos’ has shared a comparison between the PS2, the PC and the Remastered X360 versions. As we can see, the remastered version looks better than the PC version, though the changes can be considered subtle. Modder ‘flame1251’ has released the 1.3 enhanced version of his High Resolution Texture pack for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. As the title suggests, this modification improves the game’s graphics by replacing old textures for better quality. Main textures of Las Venturas, Los Santos, San Fierro and some parts of the countryside have been reworked. In this update, you will find a remarkable amount of changes to the engine as well as a nice bundle of missions to complete, most of the first chapter is available to play along with a couple of side missions and some other extras here and there that you will unlock as you progress through the story. We bloody well know that a lot of you are so into GTA: San Andreas and can’t wait to re-play it. Well, good news for all of you as modder Rikintosh has released his Advanced Graphics Settings Mod for it. This is basically a graphical overhaul that comes with a new reflection system (different than the one of the ENBSeries), SSAO, SM 3.0 and SAMP support, advanced lighting, enhanced effects, improved lights and improved normal maps. A few days ago, we got the chance to see some fan-made trailer comparisons between Rockstar’s GTA V and San Andreas. However, this versus, created by YouTube user ‘CreativityZone’, is by far the best one as it features identical scenes the whole time. It’s a really great comparison and you should definitely check it out. Some might say that Rockstar is milking their golden cow – and although that’s true to a certain point – let’s be honest; a San Andreas remake was what most of us were wishing for these past few years so kudos to them for returning in Vinewood.
