Rockstar has released a new set of screenshots for GTA V. As we reported a couple of weeks ago, GTA V would most probably featured underwater sections and the ‘shark’ shot confirms that claim. It will be interesting now to see what R* has in store for us. In other news, Amazon has revealed a possible release date for GTA V. According to an email – sent to those who pre-ordered the game – Grand Theft Auto V may be released on March 26th, 2013. As always, take this a grain of salt. Naturally, this release date is for the console versions of GTA V. A PC version is rumored to also be under development and will most probably get released with a 4-6 months delay. GTA V’s PC petition has managed to hit its initial goal of 100K signatures. After getting exposed to most major gaming websites a couple of days ago, the petition has managed to hit its goal, and is now seeking for 150K signatures. Of course, this has little to do with whether or not Rockstar will release the game on the PC. Okay, we all know that it will come after a couple of months, but still… this petition shows that there is a PC market willing to play this sandbox game on that particular platform. PC gamers are a bit bitter with Rockstar’s attitude toward them. Even though we all know that GTA V will come – some day – to the PC, Rockstar’s Vice President, Dan Houser, told IGN that the PC and WiiU versions of GTA V are up for consideration. That put off a lot of PC gamers, who now believe that GTA V will follow RDR’s route and won’t be ported to their beloved platform. So you’ve seen the second trailer of GTA V but have you ever wondered how does it compare with GTA IV? Well, time to find out as YouTube’s member ‘underage117’ has recreated the second trailer of GTA V in GTA IV. This video showcases the enormous difference between these two titles and as you may have expected, GTA V looks way, way better than its predecessor. For example; the lighting system in GTA V is miles beyond what could be achieved in GTA IV, and the characters have been overhauled with more polygons and finer details. Enjoy! Rockstar has released the second trailer of GTA V. Contrary to the first trailer, this one focuses on the main story and the three protagonists that will be present. Graphics wise, there is a lot of aliasing and the colors are not as rich as the ones found on the official screenshots. Still, the game looks fine – for today’s standards – and there are some interesting hints about the things that will be featured in it. Even though Rockstar has not confirmed – yet – the PC version of GTA V, we thought we should inform you about the latest details that were revealed via tha new GameInformer issue. According to the magazine, there will be three protagonists; Trevor, Michael and Franklin, with each character having his own personality, motivation, and skillset.
