GRID 2 promises to challenge players to be fast, be first and be famous as they enter a stunning new world of competitive motorsport. Players will be able to get behind the wheel of a BMW E30 M3 Sport Evolution, 1 Series M Coupe, M3 Coupe and Motorsport 320 TC. According to the press release, GRID 2’s wide-range of game modes can be played online with up to 12 players, including custom races based on player preferences and choosing from pre-defined playlists to jump straight into the action. Players will be able to get behind the wheel of BMW E30 M3 Sport Evolution (Evo3), BMW Motorsport 320 TC, Caterham-Lola SP300R, Ford Focus ST 2013, Gomez Competition GC 10.1, McLaren F1 GT, Mercedes Benz 190E 2.5 Evo 2, Mercedes Benz SLS GT3, Pagani Huayra, and Volvo S60 BTCS. Codemasters has released a new video for GRID 2, featuring 25 minutes of gameplay footage from a number of stages and events. It looks kind of cool, though the driving mechanics look as arcade-ish as you can remember them to be from all previous Codemasters racers, and there is no cockpit you as you most probably already know.
