Codemasters released today some new screenshots, as well as ‘World Series Racing Part 1: An American Dream’, the first in a new series of trailers for its upcoming racer, GRID 2. The video is narrated by Patrick Callahan, the entrepreneur and founder of World Series Racing, the fictional cross-discipline motor racing championship that runs throughout GRID 2, who introduces his vision for the series and its beginnings in the USA. In the video, Callahan outlines his plans for a new motorsports series and introduces players to two key racing clubs he needs to recruit as in-game footage showcases some of GRID 2’s American locations, including Street Racing in Chicago, Track Racing at the legendary Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Road Racing at the dramatic California Coast. Codemasters has revealed – via the game’s official FB page – a bunch of screenshots for GRID 2. In this huge set, the company included some new, previously unreleased, images that can be viewed below. Codemasters today released a new video combining both dramatic live action and stunning in-game footage of two 592bhp McLaren MP4-12cs racing at the world famous Brands Hatch circuit. Codemasters has released the first two gameplay trailers for Grid 2. As you may already know, Grid 2 won’t feature any cockpit view and in order to prove that the game does not need one, the company has used the hood camera. In our opinion, a cockpit view would be better and no, those “in_our_faces” reflections can’t really impress us. Codemasters has released a new set of screenshots from its cockpit-less racing game, GRID 2. GRID 2 promises to challenge players to be fast, be first and be famous as they enter a stunning new world of competitive motorsport. GRID 2 is currently planned for a 2013 release and promises to also set new standards for a racing multiplayer experience with an entirely distinct and extensive gameplay component and unique progression system.
