Half Life 2: Episode Four – First Screenshots Revealed From This Cancelled Title

ValveTime has unearthed some screenshots from the fourth Episode of Half Life 2 that has been cancelled (yes yes, it was actually a fourth episode under development). This episode was in development by Arkane Studios in collaboration with Valve, and  these new screenshots come to us via the personal portfolio of Robert Wilinski, a Senior Environment Artist at Arkane Studios between 2007 and 2008. Half Life 2’s City 17 Apartment In Unreal Engine 4 Will Be Available For Download, New Screenshots Released

Back in August, Polycount’s member ‘PogoP’ shared a set of screenshots from his Half Life 2’s City 17 Apartment map that was being created in Unreal Engine 4. 3D artist Liam Tart has been experimenting with Unreal Engine 4 and decided to recreate Half-Life 2’s Apartment 17 in Epic’s engine. Liam Tart had previously worked on Alien: Isolation, and this recreation is most probably a way to show his artistic abilities (for portfolio purposes). Reddit’s member ‘PRW9264’ has shared an amazing collection of custom retro (NES) boxarts for most modern-day games. Therefore, below you can enjoy the fantastic NES boxarts of Dark Souls, Half Life 2, Team Fortress 2, Portal 2, Assassin’s Creed, Watch_Dogs, God of War, Super Smash Bros, Skyrim and Guitar Hero.
