Now this is interesting. In an attempt to get Valve’s attention, Valve’s fans decided to commence Operation Crowbar. The operation involves buying a $7 crowbar from Amazon and shipping it to Valve’s offices until “Valve is up to their nipples in crowbars“. Ooooooooooookay, we get that Valve’s fans are annoyed with the company’s stance over these past few weeks, but seriously? On the other hand, this is awesome and funny at the same time and… well… kudos to the community for its dedication. Continue reading Operation Crowbar commenced by Valve’s fans→
It seems that Half Life 3 is drawing a lot of attention these days and Valve’s Chet Faliszek tried to put an end to all rumors regarding it. According to Faliszek, there is no ARG right now and that the community has been trolled by someone. Fair enough, this could very well be the case but some new questions arose from Faliszek’s response. Continue reading Chet Faliszek says that there is no ARG; thoughts on Valve’s response→
Man, this simply can’t be a simple coincidence. It’s pretty much clear that most of us want to see Half-Life 3 and it’s true that Valve has been hinting for it, but is that all we got? Apparently not as all hell has broken loose these past days. Forget the HL3 T-Shirt and the fact that Gabe Newell – that’s according to an insider so take it with a grain of salt – has given the green light to Valve’s employees to start hinting about the next Half-Life title. Yeah, those are quite good enough in order to assume that we’ll have some news about HL3 in 2012 but Valve themselves has given us lots of little hints and easter eggs these past days. Continue reading Are we that desperate for Half-Life 3 or is Valve truly hinting towards a 2012 reveal?→
There has been a lot of speculation these past days about Half-Life 3. And although some thought that the ARG of Half-Life 3 has begun yesterday with Wheatley’s nominee trailer for the VGAs, Valve’s Marc Laidlaw states that there isn’t currently any Half-Life 3 ARG or treasure hunt. So hold your horses everyone as the time has not come. At least not yet. Continue reading Valve’s writer Marc Laidlaw confirms: “There is no Half-Life 3 ARG”→
You’ve heard the rumors that Valve is secretly developing Half-Life 3, right? Wait, those were the same rumors with the development of Episode 3 but nevermind that for a second. And in case your mind plays tricks to you, we should remind you that easter egg that hinted to the Half-Life franchise in Portal 2. So look and behold as Valve is teasing us for one more time with a game that pretty much everyone wants to play. Damn, is Valve trying to steal Duke Nukem’s title as the best and longest vaporware game in the gaming history? Seems so but no our dear Valve, nothing will top Duke. Continue reading Does this Half-Life 3 T-Shirt hint to anything at all?→
