Okay, we’re officially impressed by this upcoming live-action short film based on Valve’s classic FPS, Half Life. Tiber Ergur released yesterday a teaser trailer for it and let me tell you that it packs some of the best visual effects we’ve ever seen in such films based on video-games. In December, we shared with you a teaser trailer for Earth Special Forces, a DBZ mod for Half Life that has been under development for quite sometime. As promised, the team behind it has released a full length video that literally puts to shame most commercial DBZ games. The impressive thing here is also the fact that we’re talking about a mod for a relatively old game, yet still looks gorgeous. YouTube’s member ‘MarphitimusBlackimus‘ has uploaded a gameplay video from the tech demo levels of Half-Life Alpha v 0.52 dated September 4, 1997, over one year prior to the finished game’s release. And you know what? I seriously love this kind of videos that show how games looked like before their time of release. The reason I love these videos is because we get to see an – almost – completely different game.
