AMD’s Ryzen 5 CPUs for gaming releasing on April 11th, prices leaked

According to the official AMD slides that have been leaked online, AMD’s upcoming quad-core and six-core Ryzen CPUs will be released on April 11th. AMD will offer four CPU models; Ryzen 5 1400,  Ryzen 5 1500X, Ryzen 5 1600 and Ryzen 5 1600X. The first two models will be quad-cores, while the latter two models will be six-cores. AMD reports that the Windows 10 scheduler works perfectly fine for its Ryzen CPUs

A few days ago, a lot of websites claimed that the Windows 10 scheduler was not working correctly for AMD’s Ryzen CPUs. According to those reports, the underwhelming gaming performance they’ve experienced could be influenced by this potential issue. However, AMD has just revealed that the Windows 10 scheduler is working perfectly fine for its Ryzen CPUs. NVIDIA GeForce GTX1080Ti – First 3DMARK benchmarks leaked online

NVIDIA’s latest graphics card, the GeForce GTX1080Ti, will be made available on March 10th and the first benchmarks for it have just hit the Internet. These first leaked benchmarks put the GeForce GTX1080Ti against the NVIDIA GeForce GTX1080 and GeForce GTX1070 on 3DMARK’s Fire Strike and TimeSpy tests. AMD’s CEO Lisa Su on Ryzen in gaming: “we’re not going to win every head-to-head”

AMD released a few days ago its new Ryzen CPUs and as we’ve already reported, they were a bit underwhelming in gaming. And while AMD claimed that its Ryzen CPUs will see benefits via future optimizations, AMD’s CEO Lisa Su claimed that AMD will not be able to win every head-to-head battle with Intel. AMD Ryzen 7 1800X third-party benchmarks revealed, unable to beat Intel’s i7 7700K or i7 6900K

And the time you’ve all been waiting for has come. The embargo for all third-party AMD Ryzen benchmarks has been lifted and below you can find some of them. And from the looks of it, while AMD’s Ryzen high-end CPU, AMD Ryzen 7 1800X, is overall a great product, it’s unable to beat both Intel’s Core i7 7700K and i7 6900K. AMD Ryzen 7 1700X versus Intel Core i7 6800K – First Official Gaming Benchmarks Leaked

During GDC2017, AMD showcased a slide with the first official gaming benchmarks between its Ryzen 7 1700X CPU and Intel’s Core i7 6800K. While there is an embargo for these benchmarks (meaning that the websites that have signed an NDA cannot share it until tomorrow), this slide found its way to the Internet. AMD Vega 10 graphics card will be officially called Radeon RX VEGA, AMD partners with Bethesda

AMD has just announced that its new Vega family will be called Radeon RX VEGA. AMD did not reveal any release date or any price for these graphics cards, however we expect them to hit the market at the end of the first half of 2017.
