Bethesda has announced that id Software’s multiplayer fragfest, Quake Champions, will officially exit the Closed Beta phase and enter into Early Access on Steam and through the Bethesda.net launcher on August 22nd. This Early Access build will come with a host of new content, including new maps, features, and a special new Champion – the mighty DOOM Slayer from id Software’s hit game, DOOM. Beautiful Doom 6.2.1 is now available for download
A few days ago, we informed you about the latest version of the Beautiful Doom mod for the original Doom games. And today, modder ‘Jekyll_Grim_Payne’ released a brand new version of it. According to the modder, this new version unlocks the weapon sets from player classes. As such, there’s no longer “vanilla weapons marine” or “enhanced weapons marine” and instead gamers can enable or disable the enhanced weapons via a simple option. Doom – Update 6.66 unlocks all multiplayer DLC, free weekend trial announced
Bethesda and id Software have released a brand new update for DOOM. According to the release notes, this patch unlocks all multiplayer DLC to everyone. This basically means that all of the DLC maps, weapons, armor sets and demons will be available for all players to enjoy. DOOM appears to have sold two million copies on the PC
According to Steamspy’s data, DOOM has sold more than two million copies on the PC. DOOM was released in May 2016 and it took Bethesda over one year – and a number of special deals/discounts – to hit that 2 million goal.
