Quake Champions gets new trailer

Bethesda has released a new trailer for id Software’s upcoming arena shooter, Quake Champions. In this trailer, Tim Willits talks about how Quake Champions not only captures the spirit of the original games but also brings the storied shooter into the modern era with the addition of Champions. Willits also gives some new insights into each of the four revealed Champions – Ranger, Visor, Nyx and Scalebearer – and shares his personal favorite of the bunch. Enjoy! DOOM looks unbelievably sexy in Photo Mode

DOOM, powered by id Tech 6, is by far one of the best optimized titles of 2016 for the PC. Not only that, but the game packs some really impressive visuals that – given the game’s hectic action – were not truly appreciated. DOOM benefits greatly from Vulkan – Vulkan versus OpenGL Performance Comparison

id Software has just released a new patch for DOOM that adds support for Vulkan. Naturally, we went ahead and tested some scenes that were performing poorly under OpenGL 4.5. And we are happy to report that id Software has nailed it as DOOM runs way, way, way better under the Vulkan API. Perfected Doom 3 V7 is now availabe, brings numerous gameplay & graphical improvements

DOOM – Next update coming on June 30th, adds Classic DOOM weapon placement & Photo Mode

Bethesda has announced that the next update for DOOM will be released on June 30th. According to the changelog, this patch will add a Photo Mode, as well as classic DOOM weapon placement support. In addition, this update comes with a number of bug fixes and improvements. You can find its complete changelog below.
