The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Season of Content wraps up with the last two Content Collections — Collection #3: Chaos Pack and Collection #4: Final Assault — set to release on the Xbox 360 on August 9 and September 6, 2012 respectively. The Call of Duty: MW3 Collection #3: Chaos Pack, will introduce gamers to the brand new Special Ops Chaos Mode, in addition to offering three all new FACE OFF Maps and four new Special Ops Missions. Modern Warfare 3’s Collection #2 DLC has been out for quite some time on X360 and although Activision has not revealed when this pack will hit our beloved platform, Steam’s registry unveiled that it will be coming really soon. As always, Steam’s registry rarely lies and it was updated yesterday with the inclusion of this second Collection DLC Map Pack. In other words, it should be coming in the next couple of weeks. Unless of course Activision encounters the same problems that Flying Wild Hog faced with the free expansion of Hard Reset. It took a while but the highly anticipated Collection DLC Pack for the PC version of Modern Warfare 3 is now available and features 4 Multiplayer/Survival Mode Maps & 2 Special Ops Missions. In addition, Activision released an update for the PC version of MW3 that adds community playlists: Infected, FFA Gunplay & Drop Zone. Those playlists were added to the console versions a while back and were missing from the PC version. Although console gamers are currently enjoying the first DLC Content Collection of Modern Warfare 3, PC gamers will have to wait until May 8th to get their hands on it. That was revealed yesterday, via InfinityWard’s twitter account. According to the company, the PC version of DLC Content Collection 1 will become available on May 8th and will includes 4 Maps for MP and Survival Mode and 2 Spec Ops Missions. One of the coolest game modes of Modern Warfare 3 is definitely the Infected Mode. However, this mode was available only in private matches and was kind of frustrating to get in it. Thankfully, all this will change and Infected will find its way to our Playlists, as Robert Bowling has revealed that this game mode will be added to the Community Playlists this weekend on X360 and PS3. Naturally, the PC version will be slightly delayed but hopefully that delay won’t be long. This basically will end all those invitations that you had been getting from random players to private infection matches. And yeah, this new mode will be available to ALL players. Activision has released a new Map Pack for Modern Warfare 3, that is currently available only to the CoD Elite members. The first Map Pack includes two maps, ‘Liberation’ and ‘Piazza’, which are free to download for gamers that have a premium Elite membership. But what about those non-Elite gamers?
