I know, I know, the latest trailer for Call of Duty’s ELITE service is cheesy as hell. But we were surprised to find out that the classic MW2 map, Highrise, would return in a new map pack for Modern Warfare 3. Sad thing is that PC gamers will have to wait a little bit more as console gamers will be the first ones to get the new maps. In the following video, and at around 0:50, the Highrise map can be easily spotted, though it looks more like a mix between Highrise + Saffron City from Super Smash Bros. No ETA has been announced as of yet for this new map pack. Continue reading Classic MW2 map, HighRise, will return in Modern Warfare 3; hinted at the latest Call of Duty ELITE Trailer→

The prestige token glitch is one of the worst glitches ever in Modern Warfare 3. It was this glitch that led Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games to ban some users for taking advantage of it. Given its publicity, we’d expect to see a huge number from players exploiting this glitch, but Robert Bowling has just revealed that the actual percentage of the gamers who were caught exploiting it, is only 0.1%, which means that 99.9% of MW3 players are playing it fair and square. It’s well known that PC gamers demand these days a FOV option from pretty much every game. We’ve discussed countless times the importance of a FOV option so we won’t be bothered answering your question as to why it is so important. Modern Warfare 3 has been out for two weeks, and we felt the need to provide you with a performance analysis for it. The reason for our delay is quite simple; Activision hasn’t provided us with a review code, so we had to purchase it ourselves. This also explains why we’ve covered games like Jurassic Park and JANE’s Advanced Strike Fighters before most of triple-A games. When a publisher/developer sends us a review code, it will be covered immediately, whether it’s a triple-A game or not. Continue reading Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 PC Performance Analysis→
And after Telltale, here comes Sledgehammer in an attempt to manipulate the MetaCritic score of Modern Warfare 3. What’s even funnier here though is that Glen Schofield, the general manager of Sledgehammer Games, tweeted and prompted the game’s fan to post great scores for Modern Warfare 3. So, instead of doing it himself, he kindly asked his fans and followers to do his dirty work. That’s hilarious and shows that everyone is so obsessed with a game’s score, even though that particular game sells like hot cakes.
