inXile Entertainment has just announced that Torment: Tides of Numenera has been delayed to 2016. As Chris Keenan – Project Lead for Torment: Tides of Numenera – noted, this will give inXile enough time to maintain the quality of its product. YouTube’s ‘Rob Cram’ has released a video, showing the graphical differences between the original and the Director’s Cut version of Wasteland 2. As we can see, inXile has improved the game’s visuals and environments. In case you’re wondering, this Director’s Cut edition – that is currently available on consoles – is called “Game of the Year” edition on the PC and is being offered for free to all Wasteland 2 owners. inXile Entertainment announced today that industry veteran Chris Avellone (Planescape: Torment, Fallout: New Vegas) is set to join The Bard’s Tale IV team as a writer and designer if the ongoing Kickstarter reaches $1.9 million, designing an entirely new area called the Cairn of Horrors. Wasteland 2 Director’s Cut – formerly known as Game of the Year Edition – is the enhanced and updated version of the award-winning Wasteland 2.
