Bad news for those who are still stuck with Windows XP, as Nixxes Software has confirmed that Hitman: Absolution won’t support this particular OS. When asked about the minimum requirements of Hitman: Absolution (at EIDOS official forum), a member suggested that Windows XP would be supported as it was listed on Amazon’s product page. However, that’s not the case. A member from Nixxes then replied (the team porting the game, that was also responsible for the PC version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution) and said that the game – as Hitman: Sniper Challenge – won’t support Windows XP. As promised, IO Interactive and Square Enix have released the E3 trailer for their action stealth third person shooter game, Hitman: Absolution. In this trailer we witness Agent 47 treating his wounds in a run-down motel room. Meanwhile, his former employer, the ICA, send a deadly specialized wetworks team after him: “The Saints.” The ICA wants 47 dead, but that’s easier said than done.
