2K Games has released a new trailer for Bioshock: Infinite, as well as some new screenshots. According to its description, Booker DeWitt is headed to the city of Columbia. A technological marvel amongst the clouds, Columbia holds a dark secret, and with it, a mysterious girl. 2K Games and Irrational Games sent us word about Bioshock: Infinite’s day-one DLC that comes to all those who pre-order the game. According to the companies, the Industrial Revolution Pack grants exclusive access to three in-game gear items that boost combat abilities, 500 bonus in-game currency, five lock picks, and the Industrial Revolution puzzle game which unlocks stories of Columbia and allows players to pledge their allegiance to the Vox Populi or Founders through Facebook. Our reader Sid Spyker has informed us about the PC requirements of Bioshock: Infinite, that were revealed on Irrational Games’ blog. According to the developers, the PC version won’t suffer from any kind of artificial mouse smoothing, and PC gamers will be able to control sensitivity or toggle mouse acceleration in the options screen. Our friends over at PCGamer have unveiled the graphical settings for the PC version of Bioshock: Infinite. According to PCGamer, Bioshock: Infinite was showcased this week on an octo-core CPU (AMD FX-8120) with a single Radeon 7900 series GPU (though we don’t know the exact model that was used) and 16GB of RAM. Bioshock Infinite PC supports DX10, as well as DX11. Still, we don’t know whether Irrational Games will go ahead and include any tessellation effects or not.
