Well, that is if the Mayan prediction was not accurate enough and the world doesn’t end tomorrow (though we all know that we’ll be just fine and nothing ‘bad’ will happen). So, our dear readers, we’re presenting you our Top10 most optimized PC games of 2012. Before starting, let us tell you that our Top10 is based on those games’ performance under DX9 and DX10. DX11 did not take off in 2012, and that’s why we did not focus on it. However, our GTX690 will serve us well in 2013, so rest assured that our upcoming Performance Analyses will also cover this API. Max Payne 3 – Epic Fail In Real Life – Amazing Live Action Film

Now this is simply great. ThereIsaCanal has created an incredible Max Payne 3 live action short film. This is basically a parody for Rockstar’s third-person shooter and – ironically – captures perfectly the game’s mood and tone. The highlight of the film is the cut-scenes that are almost identical to those of Max Payne 3. Oh, and Fabiana looks sexier than ever. Enjoy! Max Payne 3 PC – Local Justice DLC Released

Rockstar has released the Local Justice Pack for the PC version of Max Payne 3. The Local Justice DLC features three new maps for Max Payne 3 Multiplayer, the M4 Assault Rifle, Light Fingers Item and a new São Paulo Police multiplayer faction. Max Payne 3 Local Justice DLC Coming To The PC On August 9th, PC Screenshots Revealed

Rockstar revealed today that the Local Justice DLC of Max Payne 3 will be coming to the PC on August 9th. The Local Justice DLC features three new maps for Max Payne 3 Multiplayer, the M4 Assault Rifle, Light Fingers Item and a new São Paulo Police multiplayer faction. The DLC is currently available on X360 and PSN and you can view below some screenshots from the PC version of it. In addition, the Special Edition Pack of Max Payne 3 PC will be available alongside the Local Justice DLC and will feature the Classic Multiplayer Character Pack of eight playable fan favorite multiplayer characters including Mona Sax, Vladimir Lem and Max from Max Payne 2, plus the Disorderly Conduct Multiplayer Weapons Pack. Max Payne 3 – Multiplayer Weapon Tuning Update Released

Rockstar has released a new multiplayer update for Max Payne 3, that adjusts weaponry online with aim to enhance overall balance, and is currently available in all three platforms. This patch will be auto-downloaded next time you start the game and you can view its complete changelog below. Rockstar is closing its Vancouver – Max Payne 3 – studio, expands its Toronto studio

Rockstar Games today announced that it is expanding its development capabilities in Toronto, and has opened a larger, new, custom-built facility in Oakville, Ontario for the Rockstar Toronto team. The studio expansion is being supported by the Ontario government. Financial details were not disclosed. In conjunction with the expansion, Rockstar Games is moving its 35-person Vancouver-based development team to the new facility over the next six months, and is offering all members of that team the opportunity to join Rockstar Toronto or take positions in other Rockstar studios. How to remove the vRam limitation in Max Payne 3

As we said in our PC Performance Analysis, Max Payne 3 has the same vRam limitation that was present and in GTA IV. As with Rockstar’s open world game though, there is a way to bypass it. All you have to do is to locate the commandline.txt file that is located in the folder where you’ve installed Max Payne 3. Open this file and add ‘-availablevidmem 2100’ and you will be able to select each and every graphical option.
