Mechwarrior fans, we’ve got some good news and some bad news. The good news is that a new version of MechWarrior: Living Legends, a mod for Crysis: Wars, has been released. The bad news is that its development has been halted due to legal obligations. Version 0.7.0 includes lots of additional features, however it also comes with bugs that will not be resolved anytime soon. Remember that MechWarrior mod for Crysis: Wars? What was that? You don’t? Shame on you. MechWarrior: Living Legends is a free, multiplayer mod for Crysis: Wars that offered us some truly amazing moments and was enough to quench our thirst for a MechWarrior game back in 2009 and 2010. The team behind it has been hard at work tweaking and improving it and has recently released its 0.5.6 version. Great news for all mech lovers out there, as MechWarrior: Living Legends 0.5.5 public open beta is now available for immediate download. MechWarrior: Living Legends is a total conversion modification for Crysis: Wars and this new release addresses a number of issues with the MWLL 0.5.4 release and introduces a few new features as well as the first complete pass of the draft build rules over all currently released vehicles.
