Electronic Arts and Danger Close Studios have released a new update for Medal of Honor: Warfighter, as well as the Zero Dark Thirty Map Pack for it. The Zero Dark Thirty Map Pack is available at no extra cost with the Limited or Deluxe Editions of Medal of Honor Warfighter — explore two new maps (Chitral Compound & Darra Gun Market), 10 map/mode combinations, 6 new weapon configurations and 14 new weapon camos. Danger Close Games’ Medal of Honor: Warfighter has been bashed by a lot of publications, and rightfully so as this is a mediocre game. In all truthfulness, this is no longer an FPS title, but rather an on-rails experience. Believe it or not, this is more linear than Call of Duty, and that says a lot about the latest part of this legendary franchise. However, we are not here to judge the game itself. Danger Close Games and EA have released a massive day-one patch for Medal of Honor: Warfighter that tweaks and fixes various issues of the SP mode, fixes and improves a number of things in MP mode, rebalances some of the game’s weapons and fixes some other features that were supposed to be working. Hell, even the mouse scrolling was not working properly according to the release notes. According to the publisher, combat driving is a critical skill in urban environments as ambushes happen at a moment’s notice. Being able to instantaneously flip that switch from normal to full on and tactfully using your vehicle as your weapon can help you live to fight another day.
