Microsoft may lower the CPU requirements for Windows 11 to include 7th Gen Intel Core and AMD Zen 1 CPUs

A couple of days ago, Microsoft revealed the official CPU requirements for Windows 11. As we claimed, and despite what some believed, Windows 11 will indeed require an 8th generation Intel Core or a 2nd generation AMD Ryzen CPU. Microsoft confirms that Windows 11 will require 8th Gen Intel Core or 2nd Gen AMD Ryzen

A couple of days ago, Microsoft officially announced the latest version of Windows, Windows 11. Alongside its announcement, Microsoft also shared a list of CPUs that will support this operating system. Microsoft DirectStorage will be exclusive to Windows 11, won’t come to Win10

As I wrote in our previous Windows 11 story, Microsoft announced that DirectStorage will be now exclusive to this new operating system. Since this is a hot topic, I believe it deserves its own article. After all, a lot of outlets and Microsoft itself have already overhyped this feature.
