Forza Motorsport 7 PC Performance Analysis

Forza Motorsport 7 is a racing game we were really looking forward to. After fixing Forza Horizon 3’s ridiculous CPU scaling issues, we were hoping that the Forza Motorsport 7 performance would be better at launch. Turn10 confirms that Forza Motorsport 7 intentionally maxes out only one CPU core

A couple of days ago, we informed you about some bizarre CPU utilization we witnessed in the PC demo of Forza Motorsport 7. And while some claimed that we were a bit hasty about our observations – as this is a demo – it appears that we were right. Forza Motorsport 7 appears to be suffering from Forza Horizon 3’s initial CPU optimization issues

Microsoft and Turn10 released yesterday the demo for Forza Motorsport 7, however it appears that the game suffers from the same CPU optimization issues that initially plagued Forza Horizon 3. And that’s a bit shocking/surprising considering that Turn10 and Playground Games went the extra mile to fix those CPU issues in Forza Horizon 3, only to have them back in this latest iteration of the Forza Motorsport series. Microsoft admits game stuttering issues caused by the Windows 10 Creator’s Update

In April 2017, Microsoft released the Creator’s Update for Windows 10. However, it appears that this update has caused some gaming-related issues to a number of gamers. According to reports, there were noticeable stuttering issues in games with the Creator’s Update. Naturally, some thought this was a placebo effect, however Microsoft has confirmed that these issues are indeed present. Microsoft and Turn10 have announced that a demo for Forza Motorsport 7 will be released on September 19th. As the companies noted, the demo will feature three unique racing experiences in Forza Motorsport 7, showcasing the depth and breadth of the experiences available in the final game. Killer Instinct will offer cross-play support between Steam and Windows 10/Xbox One

Back in June, Iron Galaxy Studios revealed that Killer Instinct would be coming to Steam later this year. And today, it has been confirmed that the game will support cross-network between the Steam and the Windows 10 versions. And given the fact that Killer Instinct already supports cross-play between Xbox One and Windows 10, all gamers will be able to play together.
