AMD may have leaked Halo 3 for the PC, artwork showcased during its Korean R5 launch event

AMD held a launch event in Korea for its new R5 CPUs. So, during that event, AMD showcased a video with some upcoming games for the PC platform. What’s really interesting here is that AMD included an artwork from Halo 3, suggesting that this classic Halo game will finally come to the PC. Phantom Dust is an action strategy game with elements of collectible card games that was released in 2004 for Xbox, and will be re-released on Xbox One and Windows 10 in 2017. Microsoft blocks Windows Update from being used in Windows 7/8.1 on AMD’s & Intel’s newest CPUs

A few months ago, Microsoft announced that it would not support AMD’s Ryzen and Intel’s Kaby Lake CPUs in both Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. However, we did not expect the company to block the complete usage of its Windows Update tool on those particular systems. New patch for Halo Wars 2 will bring performance improvements, will fix several issues

343 Industries and Creative Assembly are currently working on a new patch for Halo Wars 2. According to the release notes, this patch comes with performance improvements on various hardware, overall multiplayer performance improvements, and fixes a number of crashes. Halo Wars 2 – PC Performance Analysis

While the first Halo Wars was not originally released for the PC (it arrived however as a pre-order bonus for its sequel), Halo Wars 2 was made available on the PC immediately and alongside its Xbox One brother (thanks to Microsoft’s Xbox Play Anywhere program). Halo Wars 2 only supports DX12 and while Microsoft declined sending us a review code, it’s time to see how this new strategy game performs on the PC platform.
