Quantum Break runs significantly faster on NVIDIA’s hardware in DX11

Quantum Break has just been released on Steam and it appears that this particular version runs way better on NVIDIA’s hardware than its DX12 brother. Quantum Break – Official Steam requirements revealed, will be DX11-only, will not support mGPU systems

Remedy has revealed the official PC requirements for the Steam version of Quantum Break. According to them, the Steam version of Quantum Break will only support DX11. Yeap, instead of supporting both APIs, Remedy decided to completely abandon the DX12 API in favour of the DX11 one (at least for the Steam version of Quantum Break). This basically means that the Win10 version of Quantum Break will NOT receive a patch to support DX11. Forza Horizon 3 – PC Performance Analysis

Forza Motorsport 6: APEX really amazed us on the PC. While there were some minor stutters (we didn’t experience much to  be honest in that particular title), it ran amazingly well on the PC platform. Naturally, we were wondering whether the next, full Forza title would be as well optimized as APEX was. And it appears that things are not looking particularly good for Forza Horizon 3. Halo 5: Forge and Forza Horizon 3 are the first games encrypted with Microsoft’s new secure appx format

Last month, it was revealed that Windows 10 would get a more secure encrypted appx format. And it appears that the first games protected by this new encryption tech are already available on Windows Store as both Halo 5: Forge and Forza Horizon 3 use it. Here are the PC graphics settings for Forza Horizon 3

Forza Horizon 3 releases next week and ACG’s Karak has shared the graphics settings from its PC version. According to the settings, PC gamers will be able to adjust/tweak a respectable amount of options. There is an MSAA anti-aliasing option, there is dynamic optimization (that was introduced in Forza Motorsport 6: APEX) and there is a framerate smoothing option. Forza Horizon 3 gets a launch trailer

Microsoft has released the launch trailer for Forza Horizon 3. In Forza Horizon 3, players will be able to customize everything, hire and fire their friends, and explore Australia in over 350 of the world’s greatest cars, including the debut of the 2017 Lamborghini Centenario. Gears of War 4 has gone Gold, will support local split-screen co-op on the PC, gets brand new screenshots

Microsoft announced that Gears of War 4 has gone Gold and in order to celebrate this announcement, the publisher released some new screenshots from it.
