Microsoft On UWP Features: VSync, GSync/Freesync, Overlay & Multigpu Support + Win32 Converter

During the Build 2016 event, Microsoft revealed some of the upcoming features for its UWP platform. According to Microsoft, the ability to disable VSync and official support for both GSync and Freesync will be coming in May. Not only that, but Microsoft confirmed that in the future, both overlays and mods will be supported in UWP games. Gears of War: Ultimate Edition – Third PC Update Now Out, Packs Optimizations To Reduce Hitches

The Coalition has released the third PC update for Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. This third patch adds support for ultra-wide resolutions, adds an FPS counter, and features pipeline state object cache optimizations to reduce hitches during level transitions. Killer Instinct – Framerate Tied To Refresh Rate, Workaround For 60FPS On 120Hz & 144Hz Monitors

Killer Instinct – PC Graphics & Visuals Options Leaked

Killer Instinct is coming to the PC on March 29th and its Graphics and Visuals options have been revealed. Killer Instinct will be a free to download game, and will be up to date with the Xbox One version (in other words, we’ll be getting Season 3).  Moreover, Killer Instinct will support cross-platform play between the PC and Xbox One.
