Peter Molyneux left Microsoft cause he was being suffocated creatively; not yet made his best game

In a long interview with Develop-Online, Peter Molyneux explained the reasons he left Lionhead Studios and Microsoft. The main reason for Peter leaving MS was that he could not be as creative as he wanted to. At that time, Peter had this huge desire to make something truly special, but he was being suffocated creatively a little bit. And naturally, the cancellation of Project Milo was a huge push on making that decision. Microsoft Flight F2P hits Steam

A lot of PC gamers want their games on Steam and even though Microsoft’s Flight free-to-play game has been available for a while, it has just hit Valve’s distribution service. Naturally, the game is free-to-play and can be played as soon as you finish downloading. However – and as you may have expected – it comes with additional DLC that will cost you around 30 euros. F2P Age of Empires Online is now available on Steam

Great news for all strategy fans as Age of Empires Online, the next installment of this legendary series that is free-to-play, is now available on Steam. Developed by Gas Powered Games and Robot Entertainment, Age of Empires Online is the next chapter in the best-selling Age of Empires PC game franchise.The game features two of the greatest ancient civilizations–the Greeks and Egyptians–and offers more than 40 hours of gameplay for free. Microsoft Flight coming to the PC on February 29th; first expansion will be available at the same day

Microsoft Studios announced that “Microsoft Flight” will be available to download worldwide for free starting 29th February, 2012. In addition, the Hawaiian Adventure Pack, which includes the remaining Hawaiian Islands, a new plane and 20 new missions, will be available to purchase the same day for players looking to expand their horizons. Microsoft in an attempt to milk the golden cow with the Kinect PC

A few hours ago, Microsoft announced that Kinect will be coming to the PC. Great news, right? Well it would be if Microsoft wasn’t trying to milk the golden cow. You see, instead of offering PC gamers the chance to experience Kinect as it is, Microsoft is releasing a brand new device for it that has minimal to no changes with the X360 version. Well, apart from a new motion camera feature called ‘near mode’ that allows the camera to be used as close as 50cm away.
