Ubisoft announced that Might and MAgic Heroes V: Shades of Darkness is now available. This fully fledged standalone game will features a new faction, Dungeon, led by the Dark Elves. Through two brand new campaigns, players will live a historical moment with this clan of rebel Elves who, after forging an alliance with the mighty Black Dragons, stepped into darkness and became the Dark Elves. Today, Ubisoft announced the long-awaited Might & Magic Heroes VI standalone expansion, Shades of Darkness, set to be released on Windows PC on the 28th February 2013. Valve and Blackhole have released new updates for DOTA 2 Beta and Might & Magic: Heroes VI. DOTA 2’s update enables Treant Protector, adds additional dialog for Earthshaker, Pudge, Storm Spirit, Shadow Fiend, and Doombringer, and makes bots more aggressive about using couriers that are carrying their items. Might & Magic: Heroes VI’s update, on the other hand, adds new features to the map, the Archipelago map and the Custom Map Exchange feature. Although Black Hole has gone bankrupt, a new update for Might and Magic: Heroes VI has just been released on Steam. This patch updates the game’s version to 1.3 and comes with auto-matchmaking and the ability to invite players from your friend list directly in-game, as well as various bugs fixes. Might & Magic: Heroes VI has just been released and Ubisoft has rolled out its day-one patch. This patch is 500MB in size and can be downloaded via the game’s auto updater. Ubisoft hasn’t released its changelog as of yet but from what we’ve heard, this update fixes some AI issues, includes better town screens and fixes some other minor issues. Ubisoft and Black Hole Entertainment revealed via a teaser trailer that the GamesCom trailer of the highly anticipated turn-based game, Might & Magic Heroes VI will premiere on August 17th. The teaser trailer – that can be viewed bellow – features CGI footage so we don’t know whether the proper one will sport any gameplay footage or not.
