SparklesProduction released today a video that showcases CounterStrike’s De_Dust 2 Map, recreated on Minecraft. We’ve seen in the past and other popular maps that were recreated in Minecraft and we have to admit that it’s really amazing witnessing all of our favourite maps in Minecraft. Call us impressed but this is something we didn’t expect and came out of nowhere. Zombienoob22, Eohek and Flambe made a Minecraft level and used Juraj’s Half-Life Texture Pack. The end result is great and we could easily mistake it with a map for Valve’s original game. Yeah, Half-Life is old but this test also shows that Minecraft has come a long way and with some additional mods can look way better than before. Now imagine a really High-Res Texture Pack for it. Notch has just announced via his Twitter account that Minecraft has just surpassed 3 million sales. Oh boy, that’s a huge number and kudos to Notch for achieving such a thing, especially since a lot of triple-A games can’t even come close to this number.
