Atari Rejects Freeware Blood Remake

Now this sucks. Back in August 2012, we informed you about a possible remake of Blood. Jason Hall, Monolith Productions’ founder, wanted to bring back Blood with a brand new remake that would be staying true to the game’s roots, and would be released for free. Blood Remake Initiated – Will Be Free & Identical To The Original Game

Boy what a month. After the news of Rise of the Triad’s remake, here comes another remake for one of Monolith’s classic FPS game. Jason (Jace) Hall wants to bring back Blood and get this right – this will be identical to the original game, but with functionality alterations/enhancements that are similar but superior to ZDAEMON’s. In other words, do not expect a modern-day remake with high-resolution textures and 3D glorified graphics. This is a tribute to all old-school fans who want to revisit Monolith’s game, and dare we say it’s the best way of remaking a game. New Gotham City Impostors Update comes with a new game mode and a new map

Warner Bros and Monolith have released a new update for the PC version of Gotham City Impostors. This update comes with various fixes, as well as a new game mode (called Bounty Hunter) and a new map (called East End). In addition, the patch adds a mute/unmute functoinality in the matchmaking lobby, the ability to select specific localized voice to be played from player and the ability to detect Toxic Gas with the BO Sniffer. As always, the update will be auto-downloaded next time you start the Steam client and you can view its complete changelog below. New Gotham City Impostors Update comes with FOV Slider

Warner Bros and Monolith have released a new update for Gotham City: Impostors. This new update comes with a number of fixes and the addition of a FOV slider, additinoal checks to ensure save data is not corrupted/stats are not lost and the implementation of ping thresholds that scale down if a player is unable to find a matchmaking session in their current range. Gotham City Impostors is now available on GreenManGaming and Steam; coming shortly on GamersGate

Great news for all those that have been waiting for Warner Bros’ action shooter, Gotham City Impostors, as the game is now available via GreenManGaming and Steam, and will be shortly available from GamersGate too. The game is priced at 14.99, 10.99 and 14.95 euros respectively and was developed by our beloved Monolith. Gotham City Impostors – Eleven New Screenshots + Beta Announcement Trailer

Warner Bros and DC Entertainment released today eleven new screenshots for Gotham City Impostors, an original download-only first-person shooter where players battle for control of an unhinged Gotham City overrun by impostors inspired by the DC Comics characters Batman and The Joker. Death Wish Mod for Blood Released

Death Wish is a new campaign for Blood with over 30 new levels, cut scenes, and more that has just been released. Yeap, you read that right. It’s for Monolith’s and 3D Realms’ little gem, the first Blood that was a pseudo-3D FPS with enemies’ sprites.
