Ridge Racer: Unbounded – Behind the Game 1: Deal with it

Namco Bandai has released the first Behind the Game video of Ridge Racer: Unbounded. Ridge Racer: Unbounded is developed by Bugbear Entertainment, the team behind our beloved FlatOut, and is the first Ridge Racer title to hit the PC. Star Trek Online gets a massive update; black texture issues in DX11 mode fixed

Cryptic Studios has released a massive new patch for their sci-fi MMO, Star Trek Online. Star Trek Online turned two years old and Cryptic is still supporting it, and get ready because the changelog for this new patch is huge. Among other things, Cryptic has fixed the black texture issue that plagued the game’s DX11 mode and Silver Accounts can now trade bridge officers to Gold Accounts. The Witcher 2 – Enhanced Edition Cinematic Intro

After watching this new cinematic of The Witcher 2’s enhanced edition, I can safely say that graphics do matter. Sure, everyone prefers gameplay over graphics but we wouldn’t be using SLI and Crossfire systems if we didn’t want the extra eye-candy, right? And oh boy, I can’t wait till we get this kind of in-game visuals. Perhaps the next generation of consoles will help us achieve something like that? Well, here is hoping that we’ll actually play… someday… games with this kind of graphics. Until then though, enjoy this new cinematic – courtesy of GameTrailers. Dark Souls Online Petition was successful; surpassed 80K signs but won’t hit 100K anytime soon

It was good while it lasted, right? The Dark Souls petition seems to be at its end as it fulfilled its purpose and as a result of that, the amount of new sign-ups is slowing to a crawl these past few days. This basically means that the petition won’t hit the round number of 100K anytime soon. Nevertheless, achieving 80K signs in just two weeks is an accomplishment in its own right. To be more precise, the petition surpassed the 80K mark in January 20th and today it’s at 81500. As we said earlier this week, Dark Souls PC petition could very well be the most successful online petition and get ready everyone, as we have the first response from Namco. Dark Souls’ PC petition could very well be the best and most successful online petition we’ve seen lately. According to the company’s senior producer, Joonas Laakso, Bugbear was working on a new racing game when it was approached by Namco.
