Viva Media and Interwave released a new trailer for Nuclear Dawn: Modern Combat Rising that offers a sneak peek into this upcoming FPS/RTS hybrid. Nuclear Dawn promises to feature two available factions, four classes of soldiers, squad-based 32 player battle modes, six maps, advanced weaponry, stats and unlocks and an SDK. Interwave Studios released the first tutorial video for their upcoming RTS/FPS hybrid, Nuclear Dawn. This video showcases the basic stages of resources that players can capture. Iceberg Interactive and Just A Game are pleased to announce that they have come to an agreement to bring InterWave Studios’ Nuclear Dawn to retailers across Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Scandinavia and the Benelux in October of 2011. Nuclear Dawn, to be released on PC and MAC platforms, is the first game to offer a full FPS and RTS experience, within a single gameplay model, without crippling or diluting either side of the game. Interwave Games revealed today more details about their upcoming FPS/RTS hybrid game. Nuclear Dawn is being developed by Interwave’s internal team and is slated for a September release on PC and Mac. Players will take the role of a soldier and will explore war-torn post-apocalyptic landscapes that are modelled on modern cities.
