It’s been a really tough week for AMD. The Witcher 3 has just been released and according to reports, the game’s Hairworks effects have a huge performance impact on all Radeon GPUs. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – New Video Details NVIDIA GameWorks Graphical Effects

NVIDIA has released a new video for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, showing off its GameWorks effects that will be featured in it. According to NVIDIA, over three-dozen animals and monsters feature NVIDIA HairWorks for stunningly realistic fur and hair that moves with the creatures movement as well as environmental effects such wind. NVIDIA GeForce 352.86 WHQL Driver Releases – Game-Ready Driver for The Witcher 3

The Witcher 3 releases tomorrow and as you may have guessed, NVIDIA has released a new driver focused on this highly anticipated RPG. According to the release notes, this new WHQL comes with SLI support and GeForce Experience 1-click optimizations for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. In addition, this new driver features SLI profiles for Magicka 2, Civilization: Beyond Earth and World of Warships. New GeForce Experience Version Fixes NVIDIA’s Shield Streamer Service Performance Issues

A couple of days ago, we informed you about the performance impact of NVIDIA’s Sheild Streaming service. By default, NVIDIA had enabled this service – even on settings that were not streaming videos to Shield devices – which ultimately had a performance impact on various PC configurations. Videocardz has revealed some new details – coming straight from NVIDIA’s Jen-Hsun – about NVIDIA’s new GPU, the NVIDIA GeForce 980Ti. AMD Catalyst 15.4 Beta & NVIDIA GeForce 350.12 WHQL Drivers Released, Optimized for Grand Theft Auto V

GTA V is almost upon us, meaning that both AMD and NVIDIA have released new optimized drivers for Rockstar’s title. AMD’s Catalyst 15.4 Beta comes with Crossfire profiles for a number of titles (like GTA V, Dying Light, Mortal Kombat X and Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. Unreal Engine 4.6 NVIDIA VXGI – New Real-time Screenshots Show Amazing Visuals

NVIDIA had recently introduced to the public its new Dynamic GI called VXGI. VGXI has been integrated in a separate branch of Unreal Engine 4, and 3D artist “Byzantos” experimented with it. Below you can find some screenshots captured with this new Global Illumination technique in full effect.
