This update fixes one hell of bugs, improves multiplayer stability, and features various UI improvements. Overhaul Games has released the first update for the enhanced edition of Baldur’s Gate. According to its changelog, this patch will update the game’s version to v1.0.2011 and adds a new movie for resting in dungeon and inn, brings various tweaks to the game’s UI screens, fixes a number of crashes and fixes various bugs. Trent Oster has revealed some juicy details about the rumored third part of the Baldur’s Gate series. According to Oster, Baldur’s Gate will be powered by new technology and not by the engine that is behind Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition and Baldur’s Gate 2: Enhanced Edition. Overhaul Games has announced the release date of the highly anticipated Enhanced Edition of Baldur’s Gate. According to the company, the game will be coming to the PC on September 18th and is available for pre-purchase via Beamdog’s store. A new counter has appeared at Baldur’s Gate website, suggesting that we might find out – in a couple of hours – the release date and the price of Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition. After all, there are two questions above the counter that ask about the game’s price and from where someone can get it. There are still 40 hours left, so we’ll have to wait almost one day and half to find out what Overhaul Games have in store for us. Back in October, Overhaul Games released the HD version of MDK 2 that featured 10 levels, 20 enemies, brand new HD graphics, enhanced audio and tweaked gameplay.
