Starbreeze has announced its agreement with 505 Games to acquire the full rights to the PAYDAY-franchise. The consideration for the acquisition amounts to 10.9 million B-shares in Starbreeze, equivalent to 30 MUSD (approx. 249 MSEK). In a recent Reddit AMA, PAYDAY 2’s producer, Almir Listo, defended the game’s microtransactions and shed some light why the company decided to do such a thing. New DLCs Announced For Payday 2 & Watch_Dogs
Overkill Software and Ubisoft announced today new downloadable content packs for Payday 2 and Watch_Dogs. Watch_Dogs will receive the Bad Blood DLC on September 23rd for season pass holders and September 30th for all other players, while Payday 2 will get the Gage Assault Pack on September 4th.
