Phosphor Games Studio has released an Unreal Engine 4 Tech Demo for its upcoming game that will be powered by Epic’s next-generation engine, Project Awakened. As the team described, this is an early demonstration of the detail level and rendering effects they plan to give players as part of the Project Awakened Create-a-Player system. It looks cool, and way better than its UE3 counterpart that was shown off when the game’s Kickstarter campaign launched. Man, a lot of Kickstarter campaigns seem to be slipping under our radar lately. Project Awakened is a new third-person game that is powered by Epic’s Unreal Engine 4 and is developed by Phosphor Games Studio. The team is currently building the prototype version with Unreal Engine 3, and there is an ongoing Kickstarter campaign for it. Phosphor Games Studio aims to raise $500K and there are 22 days until they hit this goal (currently the campaign has raised $100K).
