Well here is a nice surprise. All hell has broken loose the moment PC gamers found out that Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance would not support resolutions higher than 1080p. Blasphemy. How can this be? Well, it appears that Platinum Games’ Creative Producer, JP Kellams, is a big fan of the PC platform and will try to both create a passion for PC gaming in Japan and let people know – the team behind MGR: Revengeance – that resolutions higher than 1080p aren’t so extreme as they thought them to be. This confirmation came via today’s Hideradio and was spotted by GameChup. Kojima did not reveal further details about the PC version, or when it is expected to be released. This short film is so good that will make you wonder why these guys have not been hired by triple-A studios to create full length movies. Do you know who Platinum Games is? Of course you do. It’s the developer behind Bayonetta, Vanquish and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. And although there are some signs of Revengeance hitting the PC at a later date, the company’s executive director, Atsushi Inaba, revealed that they are interested in bringing more of their titles to our beloved platform. There is no doubt that Metal Gear Rising Revengeance’s original concept looked gorgeous. Yes, the game is now a hack n slash title similar to Bayonetta and has lost its initial charm, but it would be cool to play it on the PC, no? Well, it seems that Kojima Productions might bring this bad boy on our beloved platform after the release of its console versions.
