Project CARS v5

Ah, the beauty of Project CARS. It’s not stretch to say that Slightly Mad Studios’ racer looks more impressive than all the upcoming next-gen racing games, meaning that it sports visuals better than those of Forza 5. Truth be told, Slightly Mad Studios will have more time to tweak, adjust and enhance its title as it’s planned for a mid 2014 release, but even in its current alpha state, this racer looks awesome. As usual, the company has released a new set of community screenshots for it that can be viewed below. In addition, we’ve included a video that features destructible cars and flips. Enjoy! Project CARS v4

During the IFA exhibition in Berlin, Slightly Mad Studios showcased Project CARS running at 4K on Panasonic’s 4K Ultra HD televisions. Slightly Mad Studios used an Nvidia Titan card which was able to push a smooth 60+ fps gaming experience at 3840×2160. Project CARS looks amazing, though we hope that Slightly Mad Studios will enhance the game’s environments before releasing it. Project CARS Gets A New Set Of Gorgeous & Highly Detailed Screenshots

Project Cars Ford Focus RS v1
Slightly Mad Studios has released a new batch of screenshots for Project CARS. There is no doubt that pCars looks sexy, though we are a bit worried about its driving/physics mechanics that are not up to what Assetto Corsa and rFactor 2 are offering. Still, we are still way off until pCars gets out, so here is hoping that Slightly Mad Studios will further tweak them. And if it does not, at least we’ll be getting a really great looking racing game. Enjoy! Continue reading Project CARS Gets A New Set Of Gorgeous & Highly Detailed Screenshots

In addition, we get to see some crashes, as well as the level of vehicle destructibility that is currently available. Next-Gen Visuals Showcased Via This Project CARS Video

Project CARS next-gen
YouTube’s member ‘ADRIANF1esp’ shared a mind-blowing video for Slightly Mad Studios’ upcoming racer, Project CARS. Andrian captured a lap in pCars and then applied some filters to have a tonality, lighting, lens effect and realistic sound, along with camera movements that mimic its position on the helmet. The end result is simply fantastic, though we should note that it does not represent the game’s visuals, and we don’t know whether Slightly Mad Studios will be able to match what Andrian has created. Still, this will give you an idea of what next-gen games will look like. Enjoy! Continue reading Next-Gen Visuals Showcased Via This Project CARS Video
