Playstation 4 Remote Play Is Officially Coming To PC & Mac
Shuhei Yoshida, President of Worldwide Studios at Sony Computer Entertainment, revealed today that Sony is working on an official Playstation 4 Remote Play application for PC and Mac. Shuhei did not reveal anything more than that, however we believe that Sony saw the great potential of such an application after every gaming outlet focusing on the unofficial one that has been under development for quite some time. Now this is bloody amazing. PCSX2’s member ‘InhexSTER’ has been working on some custom drivers in order to bring all functionality of PS4’s DS4 controller to the PC. In case you were not aware of, DS4 is currently recognized as a simple gamepad on the PC. Thanks to InhexSTER’s custom drivers, though, PC gamers can now take advantage of DS4’s touchpad. Glorious.
