Quantum Break runs significantly faster on NVIDIA’s hardware in DX11
Quantum Break has just been released on Steam and it appears that this particular version runs way better on NVIDIA’s hardware than its DX12 brother. According to various reports, the Steam version can be up to 30% faster than the W10 version on NVIDIA’s GPUs, something that does not really surprise us. Quantum Break – Official Steam requirements revealed, will be DX11-only, will not support mGPU systems
Remedy has revealed the official PC requirements for the Steam version of Quantum Break. According to them, the Steam version of Quantum Break will only support DX11. Yeap, instead of supporting both APIs, Remedy decided to completely abandon the DX12 API in favour of the DX11 one (at least for the Steam version of Quantum Break). This basically means that the Win10 version of Quantum Break will NOT receive a patch to support DX11. THQ Nordic announced today that both the retail and the Steam versions of Quantum Break have been delayed to September 29th.
