Yesterday, we informed you about Quantum Break coming to Steam. This Steam version will be a Win32 application and will support both DX11 and DX12. Naturally, we wondered whether Remedy would add support for DX11 in Quantum Break’s Win10 version (that is currently sold via Windows Store). Remedy has announced that it is currently working on two new projects. Alan Wake fans, don’t get your hopes up as neither of them is related to the Alan Wake universe. Quantum Break – New patch adds G-Sync/FreeSync support, removes CPU limitation

Remedy has released a new patch for the PC version of Quantum Break. According to the changelog, this patch adds support for disabling V-sync (in other words, it adds support for G-Sync and FreeSync monitors), packs general fixes, and removes the SSE4.2, SSE4.1, SSSE3 limitation.
