YouTube’s member ‘Rod Lima’ has been working on a HD fan remake of Resident Evil 2 in Unreal Engine, and today shared a video showing off a full playthrough with Claire. As Lima noted, this project most of models, model animes and scenario were extracted from Capcom’s Resident Evil games. Resident Evil 2 Reborn HD is a fan-made game that aims to recreate the second part of the Resident Evil series. The team behind it has recently released a new video that can be viewed below, so make sure to give it a go if you are fans of older RE titles. Resident Evil 2 Reborn HD will have two camera viewpoints: fixed camera (similar to the classic RE games) and 3rd person. There is no ETA yet, though Capcom may send the team a C&D letter.
