Resident Evil Revelations was originally developed for – and released on – the Nintendo 3DS. This title met commercial success, and a lot of players considered it better than Resident Evil 6. Naturally, Capcom decided to take advantage of it, and decided to port it on current-gen consoles and PC with HD visuals and enhanced lighting effects. Capcom has released the first update for the PC version of Resident Evil: Revelations. According to its changelog, this update adds two new resolutions, fixes a bug that affected users with 120Hz monitors and adds options to enable or disable both aim assist and mouse acceleration. Good news for all Resident Evil fans as Capcom announced – via the game’s official FB page – that the demo for Resident Evil: Revelations will be released on May 14th. The demo will hit PSN, Xbox LIVE, Nintendo eShop and Steam. European PS3 players will have to wait one more day, as the demo will be available on the European PSN on May 15th. Capcom has released a new trailer for the upcoming HD version of Resident Evil: Revelations. Resident Evil Revelations features series favorites Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield, plus their respective BSAA partners – Parker Luciani and Jessica Sherawat. The action begins on board a supposedly abandoned cruise ship, the ‘Queen Zenobia’, where horrors lurk around every corner before players head for the mainland and the devastated city of Terragrigia.
