Rockstar has just announced that GTA V will be coming to home consoles (PS3 and X360) on September 17th. The game has been delayed for four months and the developers states that it will be worth the wait. Again, Rockstar did not mention anything about a possible PC version. There have been further rumors about it (like this Linkedin from one of Rockstar’s employees), and since the console version arrives on September, we can pretty much say that GTA V won’t hit PCs in 2013. Expect it sometime in 2014. You can find below both of GTA V’s trailers to remind you what you’ll be missing this year. Hayssam Keilany has released some new screenshots from the latest version of his gorgeous-looking mod for GTA IV, iCEnhancer 2.5. GTA IV looks more beautiful than ever, however we have to note that – at this point – we can clearly see the engine’s limitations. The lighting system in particular shows its age, despite Keilany’s efforts to improve it. Make no mistake, GTA IV has never looked better than this. However, it seems we’ve hit a wall, despite the addition of those beautiful anamorphic lens-flares. No ETA has been announced as of yet. Enjoy! Benjamin Bardou has informed us about the following GTA IV Machinima short film that is inspired by the amazing – and classic – cyberpunk movie, Blade Runner. According to Benhamin, this movie is a Sci-fi animation movie partially made with videogame GTA IV and composited in After Effects. Going into more details, Banjamin said that the city sequence was filmed in GTA. Benjamin used a cam control mod to take his shots wherever he wanted to and he also used images (advertisements) that he mixed with the GTA IV shots. This is a really cool short, so make sure to watch it. As a bonus we’ve also included the Ending Theme of Blade Runner. Enjoy!
