Now this is really interesting. YouTube’s member ‘xKyleN’ uploaded an amazing video walkthrough of Alan Wake’s Bright Fall. Players could not explore this town and what’s really interesting here is that this town is actually detailed and polished. Remedy has stated that Alan Wake was never meant to be an open-world game but this walkthrough will give you an idea of what it would look like in case it was. Obviously, the town is deserted and there aren’t any NPCs. xKyleN used a trainer or a ‘teleport hack’ in order to explore it, but still, it does look nice, right? We are pretty sure that you’ll appreciate it so go ahead and watch it! Continue reading Alan Wake PC – Exploring Bright Falls Walkthrough Video→
Alan Wake is a game that a lot of PC gamers have been waiting for. Some people think that the game changed from an open-world title to a linear horror action adventure due to X360’s exclusivity, but that is not true. First, we’ve seen open-world titles in X360 so Remedy wouldn’t have any – technical – issue with developing such a title for Microsoft’s console. Truth is that the open-world tech demo simply didn’t work. It was cool but as a horror game, it just couldn’t work. Therefore, Remedy decided to make it more linear and offer the experience they have been targeting for all this time. Quick forward two years and here we are, with its PC version finally hitting our platform. Alan Wake has been released for the PC, so it’s time now to see how Remedy’s little gem performs on a modern-day PC. Continue reading Alan Wake PC Performance Analysis→

According to Remedy’s Markus, the company knows about what needs to be done to resolve those artifacts, but it will some extra time to fix them. Alan Wake has just been released and as we’ve informed you, there isn’t currently any SLI profile for it. But alas, the PC community has found a temporary workaround for it. A lot of Nvidia users have been testing the available SLI profiles to see whether or not there was an SLI profile that could offer great scaling. Naturally, running the game in AFR2 let’s you use your SLI cards but unfortunately, the scaling is awful. Not only that, but there is a negative performance hit when SLI is enabled via that option. However, there is no reason to panic SLI owners, as there is a workaround and a game profile that offers great SLI scaling. Continue reading Alan Wake PC – SLI Workaround with amazing scaling→
